Information for Parents

Follow us on Twitter

We believe that a warm welcome, a positive approach and easy access to information are key to securing effective home/school communication. There are a number of ways for information to be shared between home and school, including:

  • Regular Newsletters.
  • Class assemblies/Church Services.
  • Parents evenings.
  • Reports.
  • Teachers at the door at the start and end of each day to communicate informally.
  • Headteacher on the playground most mornings and afternoons.
  • The school uses Ofsted's ParentView to gather feedback about the school.
  • Friendly, helpful staff in the office who can help direct you to any information you need.
  • This website.

The yellow tabs on the left give further information.

If you have a concern about something at school, please get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can work together to  resolve it.

As part of our commitment to working with parents and carers and maintaining our strong partnership, we have set up this page to give you help and advice with supporting your child's learning at home.

In addition to the homework they may receive each week, finding time to read with your child regularly is essential and will make a huge difference to their progress in literacy.

The approach you take in reading with your child will vary depending on your child's ability. This may include reading poems and stories to your child, sharing a picture book and discussing the content, asking questions about what your child has read and so on.
